Entrance Scholarships & Awards
UVic offers entrance scholarships to domestic and international high-school students, as well as students transferring from Canadian colleges and universities. To be eligible, you must meet specific academic and admission requirements.

In-Course Scholarships
Current undergraduate students can apply for in-course scholarships based on GPA, specific criteria, or applications. Most in-course scholarships don't require an application and are awarded based on academic merit or department nomination.
Bursaries
UVic offers bursaries to Canadian citizens and permanent residents with financial need. These non-repayable monetary awards are available to entrance, transfer, and in-course students.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Receiving maximum full-time government student loans
- Reasonable academic standing
Work Study Program
Our work study program provides part-time on-campus jobs to students with demonstrated financial need. Apply to determine your eligibility and view current work study postings.
