Scholarship to study in Finland is currently in vogue. The scholarships provided include bachelors, masters’ students and PhD students. Unfortunately being a scholar at Finland requires only the PhD applicants to apply totally for free. The Finnish scholarship for both bachelors and master students was trending years back, but currently the scholarships would be differed and students would be required to start paying tuition fees starting from August 2017.

This event does not affect the PhD scholars. They are the only ones that have being confirmed to eternally enjoy the scholarship offer in Finland.   

REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDYING IN FINLAND

Before you can be able to come to Finland to study for free, you are advised to have a minimum of £700 to £900 (Seven hundred to Nine hundred British pounds) allowance for monthly expenses or £9,000 (Nine thousand pounds) for annually expenses.

What the Finnish government would not be able to do for you when you want to go to Finland is pay your flight tickets to and fro. They would not be able to cover your living expenses and accommodation. So it is advised for any prospective scholar to prepare ahead before trying to apply to study in Finland.

In Finland every student is advised to be self dependent as regards to daily living cost, house rents and health insurance fees.

CAN I WORK WHILE STUDYING IN FINLAND?

Of course Yes! You can work while studying in any Finnish university provided you can speak Finnish or Swedish languages, or both. That is why if you are thinking of generating funds for sustenance in Finland through work and study program you are advised to desist from it especially for new immigrants to Finland. The otherwise is if you can provide a Finnish/Swedish language proficiency result alongside your visa applications, things are most likely to work out well for you. On the contrary working in Finland as a student requires an old resident scholar, may be a Level 200 or year two student can work and study conveniently.
