Chevening is a British Government sponsored scholarship scheme
aimed at developing global leaders. Chevening is funded by the FCO (Foreign and common wealth office).
The scholarship offer is focused on international students only of which it
includes students from developing countries.
Chevening is awarding a two tier award namely:
- Chevening Scholarships and
- Chevening Fellowships
The winners of these awards are determined by the British
Embassies and High Commissions worldwide.

Applications for both awards have the stipulated deadline from
8 August and 8 November 2016.
