Eligibility:

Applicants MUST  be:
  1. Holding an offer of admission to UCL for full-time undergraduate study in any department;
  2. In financial hardship, and be able to demonstrate that without the scholarship they would be unable to study at UCL;
  3. Preferably aged 25 or below at the time of commencing their studies;
  4. Able to demonstrate that they have broad interests and intend to be actively involved in and contribute to the life of the university.

Selection Criteria:

To be selected a scholar at UCL you must submit a document of proof that shows how independent you are financially and declaration of interest to participate in every extracurricular activity and also take full part in Student Union Government.

Value of scholarship:

The Denys Holland Scholarship is valued at €9,000 per scholar for three years, provided the student keeps up his/her good academic record during the period of study.  A scholar would be allowed to use up his/her €9,000 to pay for all fees including tuition and the remainder becomes a stipend.

Application deadline:

The application deadline to apply for The Denys Holland Scholarship is on the 7th of July 5pm GMT.

Notification:

Successful scholars should expect to be notified any time during the month of September, by email.
