The Ontario Trillium Scholarship (OTS) is designed to attract international PhD students to the University of Toronto.
Value & Duration
The University of Toronto will have 15 awards to distribute
annually. The OTS is held for four years and renewed to the student for each of
the three years following the first year, provided the student maintains good
academic standing and continues to meet recipient eligibility requirements.
Please note that students who intend to begin in a masters
program and transfer to a PhD within 12 months are not eligible for the OTS
program. Nominees must be entering a PhD program directly.
Application & Deadline
Applications are accepted only via nominations by the
graduate units. Students interested in the Ontario Trillium Scholarship (OTS)
are encouraged to contact their graduate unit when applying for admission to
the University of Toronto. Application deadlines are set by the individual
